Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IQ.Lvbs products and services, including the IQ.Lvbs Shop and Konn3kt, operated by IQ.Lvbs LLC, a part of Project Teal Lvbs Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). Konn3kt is a web-based dashboard for managing openpilot-compatible devices, owned and operated by IQ.Lvbs.

Important Notice: IQ.Lvbs and Konn3kt are independent, third-party platforms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to comma.ai, Inc. "openpilot" is a trademark of comma.ai, Inc., and is used here solely to describe compatibility. Our platforms are not sponsored, authorized, or approved by comma.ai. openpilot is open-source software released under the MIT license.

By accessing or using any IQ.Lvbs product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

To use IQ.Lvbs products and services, you must:

Be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Creating an Account

You may register for an account using email or through OAuth providers (GitHub, Google, or Apple). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, SSH keys, and paired devices. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

2.3 One Account Per Person

Each individual should maintain only one account unless expressly permitted for organizational use purposes.

3. Use of Our Services

3.1 Permitted Uses

You may use IQ.Lvbs products and services to:

Pair and manage openpilot-compatible devices
View device status, telemetry, and diagnostics
Record, store, and play back routes and video
Stream live video from your devices
Access devices via WebSSH
Dispatch navigation destinations to your devices
Share routes with other users or publicly
Manage shared devices and user permissions (if applicable)
Browse and purchase hardware products through the IQ.Lvbs Shop

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Access devices or data belonging to others without authorization
Attempt to bypass security measures, access controls, or authentication systems
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platforms without permission
Use our services to harass, abuse, or harm others
Resell or commercially exploit our services without our written consent
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Use our services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair them

3.3 Safety and Distracted Driving

You strictly agree not to interact with the Konn3kt dashboard or any IQ.Lvbs service, change settings, view video streams, or use any feature of the Service while operating a motor vehicle. You acknowledge that using a screen while driving is dangerous, distracting, and strictly prohibited by these Terms. The Service is intended for use only when the vehicle is stationary and parked in a safe location. IQ.Lvbs LLC and Teal Lvbs Inc are not responsible for any accidents, damages, citations, or violations of law arising from your use of the Service while operating a vehicle.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Subscriptions

Some parts of our services may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you at the time of purchase.

4.2 No Refunds

Unless required by law, all fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods or for accidental purchases.

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing upon notice to you. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes your agreement to pay the new amount.

4.4 Returns and Refunds

All returns of hardware products, including but not limited to the Angle Lateral Control Module, are entirely at the sole discretion of IQ.Lvbs LLC. All return requests are subject to approval and oversight by IQ.Lvbs and are not guaranteed in any manner. IQ.Lvbs reserves the right to deny any return or refund request for any reason, including but not limited to product condition, time elapsed since purchase, or any other factor we deem relevant. No return shall be considered accepted until explicitly confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of IQ.Lvbs.

5. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability for Hardware Products

5.1 Assumption of Risk

The Angle Lateral Control Module and all other hardware products sold by IQ.Lvbs are purchased entirely at the buyer's own risk. By visiting this website, browsing our products, placing an order, or purchasing any hardware from IQ.Lvbs, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you assume all risks associated with the purchase, installation, and use of any IQ.Lvbs hardware product.

5.2 Complete Waiver of Liability

BY VISITING THIS WEBSITE AND/OR BY PURCHASING ANY HARDWARE OR PRODUCT FROM IQ.LVBS, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE TO HOLD IQ.LVBS LLC, ITS OWNERS, PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS, AND ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY RELATED TO IQ.LVBS COMPLETELY HARMLESS AND FREE FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, INJURY, CLAIM, OR EXPENSE OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE, ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO YOUR PURCHASE, POSSESSION, INSTALLATION, USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE ANY IQ.LVBS PRODUCT OR SERVICE. THIS WAIVER APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY.

5.3 Limited Hardware Warranty

IQ.Lvbs provides a limited one (1) year warranty on all IQ.Pilot hardware products, including the Angle Lateral Control Module, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty Period and Activation. The warranty period begins on the date of activation, not the date of purchase or shipment. Activation occurs when you first plug the IQ.Pilot module into your vehicle and use it with the IQ.Pilot software. The activation date is automatically registered with Konn3kt, the companion platform to IQ.Pilot, and serves as the official start of your warranty period.

What Is Covered. During the warranty period, IQ.Lvbs will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any IQ.Pilot hardware product that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, at no charge to you. This includes all shipping costs associated with the warranty claim. IQ.Lvbs will cover both inbound shipping (sending the defective product to us) and outbound shipping (sending the repaired or replacement product back to you). Replacement products may be new or refurbished and are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Tampering and Modifications. Opening or inspecting the IQ.Pilot module does not void the warranty. However, any tampering with, modifying, or damaging the internal components of the module will void the module warranty. The warranty on the vehicle harness is void if the harness has been modified, spliced, re-wired, or otherwise tampered with.

What Is Not Covered. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from: (a) accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect; (b) improper installation or use not in accordance with provided instructions; (c) exposure to extreme conditions beyond the product's specifications; (d) normal wear and tear; (e) use with incompatible vehicles or software not supported by IQ.Pilot; or (f) any opening, modification, or tampering with the vehicle harness (harness warranty only).

Limitation. Except for the limited warranty described above, IQ.Lvbs makes no other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You acknowledge that IQ.Pilot hardware involves vehicle steering systems and that improper installation or use may result in vehicle damage or personal injury. You accept full responsibility for any and all consequences of using IQ.Lvbs hardware. In no event shall IQ.Lvbs' liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the product.

How to Make a Warranty Claim. To submit a warranty claim, contact IQ.Lvbs support with your Konn3kt account information. Your activation date will be verified through Konn3kt to confirm warranty eligibility.

6. Your Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload to our platforms, including route files, video recordings, and navigation data ("Your Content").

6.2 License to Us

By uploading Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit Your Content as necessary to provide our services. This license includes sharing Your Content with users you have authorized and displaying publicly shared routes.

6.3 Responsibility for Your Content

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that:

You have the right to upload and share Your Content
Your Content does not infringe the rights of others
Your Content does not violate applicable laws

6.4 Removal of Content

We may remove Your Content if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law. We are not obligated to store or maintain Your Content and recommend you keep local backups.

6.5 Video Storage and Compression

To ensure the continued availability and performance of Konn3kt for all users, we may delete original raw .hevc video footage (dashcam footage). In such cases, we will provide a compressed counterpart that is lossless in terms of quality. This allows us to optimize storage while maintaining the integrity of your recordings. An exception to this policy is made for "preserved" routes, which will maintain their original raw data as long as they remain in a preserved state.

7. Privacy

Your use of IQ.Lvbs products and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

IQ.Lvbs products and services, including Konn3kt and the IQ.Lvbs Shop, their design, features, code, and branding, are owned by IQ.Lvbs LLC (a part of Project Teal Lvbs Inc) or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platforms except as expressly permitted.

8.2 Trademark Notice

"openpilot" and "comma.ai" are trademarks of comma.ai, Inc. All other trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.

8.3 Open Source

openpilot is open-source software released under the MIT license. Our compatibility with openpilot does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

8.4 Feedback

If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or feature requests regarding our products or services ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into our services without any obligation or compensation to you.

9. Third-Party Services

IQ.Lvbs products and services integrate with third-party services, including:

OAuth providers (GitHub, Google, Apple)
Mapping services (Mapbox, OSRM)
Cloudflare CDN

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

IQ.LVBS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, INCLUDING KONN3KT AND THE IQ.LVBS SHOP, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

Our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Data will be accurate or complete
Our services will meet your specific requirements
Any defects will be corrected

The Service will remain compatible with any specific version of third-party software or hardware (including openpilot or comma.ai devices). You acknowledge that updates, modifications, or discontinuations by these third parties may render our services partially or wholly non-functional.

IQ.LVBS AND KONN3KT ARE THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH COMMA.AI. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT OPENPILOT OR ITS FUNCTIONALITY. You use our services at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on data from our platforms.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IQ.LVBS LLC, TEAL LVBS INC, AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services
Any conduct or content of third parties

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IQ.Lvbs LLC, Teal Lvbs Inc, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of our services
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of others
Your Content

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using our services at any time. To delete your account, contact us at [email protected].

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

Violation of these Terms
Conduct that harms us, other users, or third parties
Extended inactivity
Legal or regulatory requirements

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your right to use our services ends immediately
We may delete your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect (including Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, and 15)

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute or initiating arbitration, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days.

14.2 Binding Arbitration and Opt-Out

You and IQ.Lvbs LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Henry County, Illinois, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Opt-Out Right: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending an email to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, email address, and intent to opt out.

14.3 Court Jurisdiction (If Opted Out)

If you opt out of arbitration, any civil or federal claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Henry County, Illinois. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in Henry County, Illinois.

14.4 Individual Disputes Only

Whether in arbitration or court, you agree to resolve all disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or any other representative proceedings.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will:

Update the "Effective Date" at the top
Notify you through our platforms or by email
Where required, obtain your consent

Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using our services.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IQ.Lvbs LLC regarding our products and services.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights at any time.

16.5 No Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
